Preservation and Firefighting Campaigns

The Torto Environmental Group (GAT) leads essential campaigns to protect the Cerrado from forest fires. The 'Adopt a Forest Brigade' initiative mobilizes financial resources and supplies to support our firefighters, strengthening prevention and direct firefighting. Your participation is essential to maintaining environmental safety and preserving the region's biodiversity.
  • What is the 'Adopt a Forest Brigade' campaign?

This initiative seeks to raise financial and material support to equip and maintain the GAT's firefighting brigades. These teams work directly to prevent and control wildfires in the Cerrado.

By adopting a brigade, companies and individuals contribute to training and the acquisition of essential equipment and supplies, ensuring greater efficiency in firefighting operations.

  • How can I help the brigade?

You can support financially through donations or sponsorships, as well as contributing supplies such as protective equipment, tools, and food for the firefighters.

It is also possible to participate as a volunteer in awareness and prevention actions, strengthening the community environmental protection network.

  • What is the impact of the campaigns in the Cerrado?

Since 2018, our campaigns have helped significantly reduce the number and extent of wildfires in and around Brasília, protecting thousands of hectares of native vegetation.

Support for the brigade resulted in faster and more effective responses, minimizing environmental damage and preserving local fauna and flora.

  • How are the funds raised used?

The resources are used to purchase safety equipment, train firefighters, operational logistics, and acquire essential supplies for fighting fires.

We guarantee complete transparency in fund management, with periodic reporting to donors and partners.

  • Can I follow the brigade's actions?

Yes, GAT maintains regular updates on its social media and website, sharing photos, videos, and reports of campaigns and operations carried out in the Cerrado.

Following these actions is a way to get involved and understand the importance of ongoing work in environmental preservation.
